Hey y’all, I’m Morgan! I’m a Nashville-based Graphic Designer currently working in Sports Branding and Digital Media. I live to see design come to life across digital, print, and physical spaces inside and outside of the sports world. Unlike many within this field, I came to sports a bit later in life. Originally from Greenville, SC, I grew up obsessed with anything creative; art, photography, drama, music, and eventually channeled it all into visual storytelling. I fell in love with graphic design in 8th grade yearbook class which started my almost a decade of yearbook and publication experience. When college rolled around, I took a leap of faith, abandoning my Clemson Tiger upbringing, and accepted a spot in the Auburn University BFA Graphic Design program. 4 years of intense, fast-track style education in design, typography, identity, image, photography and more, Auburn’s program built me into the designer I am today. Once it was time to start my Senior Thesis Project (the only thing that controlled whether I gradated or not), I wracked my brain to figure out how I could fit every aspect of design I loved into one project — publication, identity, social, advertisements, apparel, signage, etc. Here is where I fell in love with sports design. After memorizing the 400-page NCAA handbook on sports regulations, I knew I was committed to this life. Flash forward 3 years and here I am living out my dream. As the Brand and Digital Media Coordinator at the Music City Bowl and Nashville Sports Council, I alone run the Marketing department acting as the sole designer, social media coordinator, marketing strategist, media relations, photographer and more. I thrive in fast-paced environments where collaboration, and problem-solving are part of the daily rhythm. To keep a long story long (typical with me), my heart and soul are in sports design.
